21st–23rd June 2025 | Nairobi, Kenya
Theme: Solidarity, Power & Futures
“The future doesn’t just happen—we disrupt, we create, we own it.”
Every three years, the African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) convenes its members, partners, and allies from across 55 African countries for the Programming Conference and General Assembly (PCGA). The 2025 edition will take place in Nairobi, Kenya from 21st to 23rd June, under the theme Solidarity, Power & Futures.
Held against the backdrop of the 30th Anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, this year’s PCGA offers a timely space for African feminists and allies to reaffirm Pan-African solidarity, celebrate women’s power and achievements, and co-design future-proof advocacy and resourcing pathways.
The convening will feature Africa Beijing+30 Solidarity Awards, recognizing exceptional leadership in advancing gender equality across the continent, and a colour campaign—Orange for hope, Green for resilience, and White for peace honouring the lived realities of African women and girls.
